Semarang, July 31, 2026 — Diponegoro University (UNDIP) provides opportunities for Bachelor and Diploma program students who meet the requirements to obtain a 50 percent refund of tuition fees in the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. This policy is part of the adjustment of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT) set by the university.
The UKT refund is intended mainly for final year students who still have to attend lectures with a relatively small academic load. Based on the provisions of UNDIP, students who are declared to have graduated after July 25, 2026 can apply for a refund of 50 percent of tuition fees, provided they take a maximum of 6 credits of courses.
Valid for Undergraduate and Diploma Students
This tuition fee refund policy applies to students of the Bachelor and Diploma programs. Meanwhile, students of the Postgraduate program are not included in the provisions for the UKT refund.
In addition to a 50 percent refund, UNDIP also sets different conditions for students who have completed their studies early. Students who are declared to have graduated no later than July 25, 2026 can apply for a refund of 100 percent of tuition fees.
This provision provides space for final year students to get tuition fee waivers according to the academic burden that still has to be taken. Students who only take a few credits in the final semester do not need to bear the full tuition fees if they have met the requirements set by the university.
UKT Reduction of up to 50 Percent
In addition to the tuition fee refund scheme, UNDIP also stipulates a UKT reduction of up to 50 percent for students in semesters 9 or 10 and beyond who take courses with a maximum of 6 credits. The provisions for the reduction differ based on the semester taken by the student.
For 9th semester students who take a maximum of 6 credits, the UKT reduction is set at least 50 percent of the UKT that should be paid. Meanwhile, for students in semester 10 and beyond with a maximum load of 6 credits, a reduction can be given at most 50 percent.
The difference between the reduction of UKT and the return of UKT is something that students need to pay attention to. The reduction of tuition fees is related to the adjustment of the amount of tuition that must be paid, while the refund of tuition fees is given to students who have met the provisions after making payments.
Submission is done online
The entire process of adjusting UNDIP UKT is carried out online through the official website of ukt.undip.ac.id. Students who meet the criteria need to pay attention to the provisions and documents required so that the application process can be carried out according to the procedure.
For students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNDIP, this policy is important information, especially for final year students who enter semester 9 or more and have a maximum of 6 credits remaining study load.
With this policy, UNDIP provides financing flexibility for students who are in the final stage of study. The UKT refund of 50 percent is also a form of support for students to be able to complete their education without being burdened with costs that are not proportional to the academic burden taken.
